The Watering Can Flower Market is a family run European inspired shop bursting with plants, flowers and new discoveries at every turn. With 1000's of succulents, tropicals, and floral arrangements, they have every occasion covered in style. The hand-tied bouquets are stunning enough to distract anyone whose actual special day you might have missed...and the cheesecake you can add to any delivery is to die for...lol!
THE GRIST
The Grist is St. Davids newest craft kitchen & brewery. Proprietors, Rob & Danielle Begin's labour of love promises a fun, casual dining atmosphere along with an on-site brewery complete with an amazing rustic modern interior. A definite must when visiting Niagara, and a perfect place to gather with all your local friends! The wings are amazing and one member of The Peninsula Group feels strongly that wings are a food group unto their own....she'll absolutley fight you about this. The wings are a must try!
REIF ESTATE WINERY
Founded in 1982, Reif Estate Winery is one of Niagara-on-the-Lake's founding family wineries. The farm is home to some of the oldest vinifera plantings in Canada, a benefit to growers in cooler climates like Ontario, as mature vines ripen earlier....we know we just love to drink the wine & we know they do wine well! A local favourite when exploring Niagara's Wine Country. Don't forget to bring some home to your friends...at least the ones you really like.
TWO SISTERS VINEYARD
The entire estate and surrounding grounds are breathtaking and offer views as stunning as their wines....we especially love their Lush Sparkling, it is the perfect summer bottle to share with friends. Most likely you should take a few home after your visit...you can't buy this fabulousness at the LCBO! And, there is no way to describe Two Sisters Vineyard & Kitchen76 other than a luxurious experience in ultra-premium Niagara wines and intricate Italian cuisine.
AVONDALE DAIRY BAR
Avondale Dairy Bar has been cranking out handmade ice cream since 1955, like legit 1955! Avondale is one of those unique, go-to places you have to stop at whenever you are in Niagara...or just craving the amazing, magical power ice cream has to make any day better...with nuts and caramel drizzle of course!!! They have take-out, take-home conatiners too.
